Proprietor of Holdfast Computing.
Educational representative for MGT towards the end of the company's life.
Author of SAM Go, an interactive Go board for two players, which implemented the rules of Go but had no ability to play the game itself.
Trivia
Guy has written a biography of pioneer aeronaut and philosopher J.W. Dunne, The Man Who Dreamed Tomorrow. He has also published mathematical papers on polyhedra, works on aviation history, and a short collection of SF stories, Nobody Steals my Air.
His "What-If" aircraft models have also won him the odd award at the IPMS UK national championships.
Where are they now?
Guy went on to become a technical author and IT systems engineer.
He is currently (2026) plying his trade as a part-time Civil Servant.
