Skool Daze is a seminal action-adventure video game released in late 1984 for the ZX Spectrum and in 1985 for the Commodore 64 by British software house Microsphere. Written by David Reidy and illustrated by Keith Warrington, it is widely considered a milestone in gaming history and a pioneer of the sandbox and open-world genres, directly anticipating the mechanics of games like Rockstar's Bully.
Gameplay & Objective
You control a schoolboy named Eric, who is on a mission to steal his report card from the staff room safe before it gets sent to his parents.
The safe is locked with a combination of four letters. Each teacher knows only one letter, and the headmaster dictates the order. To win, you must:
- Hit all the shields hanging around the school with your catapult to make them flash.
- Knock out or interact with teachers to force them to reveal their hidden letter.
- Crack the code combination sequence.
- Sneak into the staff room, open the safe, and turn off the shields to secure the report card.
Now finally ported on the Sam Coupé with the great "hand" of Nicholas Bay that is a super pixel art artist!!!
Enjoy :-)
